For any terminal utilizing Network Fee Share (NFS), an ACH Authorization Form must be submitted via email to support@switchcommerce.com. This form authorizes Switch Commerce to initiate ACH transfer entries and debit or credit the specified account.
When submitting the ACH Form, please specify in your email that this is a request for NFS.
Once the request is processed, the Network Fee Share option will appear as a submenu item within TMS.
Allows pemissioned TMS ISO Admin users to configure NFS for groups of terminals.
The default page view will appear as follows.
The Partner Tree panel shows the ISO partner and a fully expanded view of all partners under the ISO that the user has access to. When a partner is selected from the Partner Tree, the available terminals will be shown in the Bulk Terminal Network Fee Share table and can be selected. When a partner is deselected, the related terminals will be removed from the table whether or not they have been selected.
When a partner is selected, the Bulk Terminal Network Fee Share panel shows a table containing terminals with the following requirements.
-
Terminal matches the selected partner.
-
Terminal does not already have NFS configured.
-
Terminal has at least one Surcharge Split Account.
-
The terminal’s Surcharge Account is setup to settle monthly.
-
The terminal’s Surcharge Account has a confirmed ACH form.
Terminals that have multiple applicable Surcharge Split Account’s will display a dropdown box containing the viable Surcharge Accounts for the terminal. The checkbox for the terminal will be disabled until an account is selected from the dropdown.
The user can select individual terminals to apply a NFS share to via the checkbox at the end of each terminal row. Alternatively the user can use the checkbox in the table heading to select/deselect all of the terminals in the table at once.
The Clear button will uncheck all of the checkboxes, thereby deselecting any selected terminals. When terminals are selected from the table, the Apply button will allow users to configure NFS for those terminals via a popup.
The Apply Fee popup requests that the user enter a NFS percentage to be applied for all card brands. The NFS percentage text box allows users to either type in a value or use the arrows to adjust the value. The text box will limit the users to a range of 0-100%.
The Save button will save the new NFS configuration for the terminals. The Cancel button will close the popup and return the user to the underlying page.
In the Partner Tree panel, the Clear button will deselect any selected partners in the Partner tree and return the Bulk Terminal Network Fee Share panel to the default page view. The Select All button will select all of the partners in the Partner Tree, and fill the Bulk Terminal Network Fee Share table with all applicable terminals for the ISO and each partner under the ISO that the user has access to.
Terminal Network Fee Share Page
When a terminal has had NFS configured via the Partner Bulk Network Fee Share Page, the NFS details can be viewed/edited from the Terminal Network Fee Share Page. For a NFS configured terminal the page will appear as follows.
At this time the implementation of NFS will only support applying the same NFS percentage across all card brands, so the Terminal Network Fee Share table will only show a single row for the universal NFS. The Delete button at the top right is only displayed when the table is populated (the terminal has an active NFS share). Clicking the Delete button will open a popup.
The Delete Confirmation popup informs the user that this action will delete NFS for the terminal. Clicking the No button returns the user to the underlying page. The Yes button will update NFS for the terminal.
When the terminal does not have an active NFS share, the Terminal Network Fee Share table will show an Account dropdown and Add button in the top right. Terminals with a single Surcharge Split Account will display that account in the Account dropdown rather than “Select An Account“, and the dropdown will be disabled. Terminals with multiple Surcharge Split Accounts will display those accounts in the Account dropdown, and the “Select An Account” option will be set by default to direct the user. When an account is selected from the Account Dropdown the Add button will be enabled. Clicking on the add button will open a popup.
The Apply Network Fee Share popup requests that the user enter a NFS percentage to be applied for all card brands. The NFS percentage text box allows users to either type in a value or use the arrows to adjust the value. The text box will limit the users to a range of 0-100%.
The Save button will save the new NFS configuration for the terminals. The Terminal Network Fee Share table will also contain a new row for the new NFS share. The Cancel button will close the popup and return the user to the underlying page.
Clicking on the table row will also open the Apply Network Fee Share, so users can update the NFS percentage.
Changes to Current TMS Pages
The Surcharge page will be updated to prevent users from update/deleting the Surcharge Splits account if it is connected to an NFS configuration.
The Buy Rates page will include a new Network Fee Share billable item that can be added.
