Hyosung Enable EJ at Terminal | Archive Journal | Delete Journal

Below are the instructions on how to enable EJ at the terminal , archive journals , and delete journals on a  Hyosung.

Dispute timelines:

• International cards: up to 180 days

• Domestic cards: up to 120 days

Archive journals for at least 180 days to retain evidence for dispute representation.

Delete journals so EJ starts at the current period instead of reverting to the beginning of transactions.

Enable Electronic Journal:

• Journal
• Upload Journal to Host
• Enable/Disable

NOTE 1:  If you don't see the option to upload the journal to host, please make sure your software is updated.

NOTE 2: Hyosung terminals must be set to Standard 1 before opting in via TMS. Please see the Hyosung Enhanced Std 1 Configuration Guide.

Archive Journal:

• System Setup
• System Control
• Backup All Journal to USB or Backup Journal by Date to USB

Delete Journal:

• System Setup
• System Control
• NVRAM
• Clear Journal
